ECCENTRIC SYMMETRY

Eccentric Symmetry centers around developing a children's play structure that would withstand significant lateral force. With its white canvas enclosure surrounding all but one side of the second story, commanding stature, and climbing rungs made of rope bundling together the bottom vertical members into groups of threes, the structure is reminiscent of the mast and sails of wind powered boats from the past, evoking feelings of adventure and freedom.
